JAX2025 Build It Zone at One Spark

Hardhats, caution tape and yoga, oh my! Weirdest planning list ever? Maybe. Sign of an awesome One Spark venue? Absolutely.
As you all have heard we are officially a few weeks out from the second annual One Spark festival. In case you missed it last year, this electric event attracted over 130,000 people, took over about 20 square blocks of downtown and put Jacksonville on the map around the world in 2013. Well folks, the One Spark experience is back and trust us when we say it will be better than ever. Now sure, that may have something to do with the nearly $3.25 million in creator money up for grabs or even the 700+ creator projects taking over our downtown. However, we all know the real excitement of this year will be because JAX2025 signed on as an official venue curator (ok, just kidding...kind of).
In all seriousness though, JAX2025 is thrilled to be taking over Juice Gallery for One Spark 2014 to create the official JAX2025 Build It zone. That’s right friends; we have our very own venue!
As the curator of the space we are excited to craft an experience that represents the road to the shared community vision for Jacksonville in 2025. We are thrilled to have 7 creator projects joining us that represent all 10 targets of the JAX2025 vision. These visionaries are working everyday to not only move their passion forward, but move our city forward. If that’s not enough already, these folks are using the 5 day festival to invite you to take part in a few One Spark extras. From performances to photo opportunities to even free yoga classes, we promise you an action packed experience.

Attend
It’s all fun and games…when you attend. Mark your calendars for April 9- 13. Grab your friends, family and even your dog and head downtown to take in one of Jacksonville’s crown jewels. Check out the official One Spark schedule here and make sure to stop by the Build It zone to say hello.

Help our creators earn a chunk of the One Spark change. The beauty of a crowdfund, is that you have the power to distribute the funds. A simple vote for your favorite projects, translates into real dollars and real action. Register and learn how to vote here.
Volunteer
Join us as a Venue Host or a member of the JAX2025 Outreach Team. Whether you’d like to greet attendees from the comfort of our venue or want to promote and make friends throughout the footprint, we have something for you and have made it super easy to be part of the fun. Click the button below to sign up for as many shifts as you’d like throughout the 5 days. From there you will be invited to a volunteer training and receive a T-shirt to wear while on your shift.
